TENNIS WINS AT ELKHART MEMORIAL

The Plymouth tennis team won on the road at Elkhart Memorial Friday defeating the Crimson Chargers 4 – 1.  The win moves their NLC record to 6 -1 with one NLC match remaining at Wawasee Monday. Winning at singles for the Pilgrims were Erin Hunter and Ashley Harrell.  Winning at doubles were McKenzie Schhetz/Kendall Dreibelbis

The Lady Pilgrim tennis team continued the season long Road Show Wednesday night at Northridge.  The Pilgrims shutout the Lady Raiders 5 – 0. Lanae Singleton, Erin Hunter, and Ashley Harrell all won their singles matches.  Kendall Dreibelbis/McKenzie Scheetz and Cortni Cook/Leah Smith won their doubles matches in straight sets. The Lady Pilgrim tennis team traveled to Goshen Tuesday evening to take on the Lady RedHawks.  The Pilgrims shut them out 5 – 0 in very frigid, windy conditions. NLC TENNIS MAKE-UP DATE @ ELKHART MEMORIAL

The rained out Plymouth @ Elkhart Memorial tennis match will be made up Friday evening at Elkhart starting at approximately 5:30.  Hopefully weather will permit this to occur!!

IHSAA SECTIONAL REALIGNMENTS

The IHSAA has announced how the IHSAA sectionals will be realigned starting in the 2017-2018.  These alignments will be used for the next two years. The boys and girls basketball sectional will be exactly the same.  The schools included in  4A Basketball Sectional 4 are: Concord, Elkhart Central, Elkhart Memorial, Goshen, Northridge, Plymouth, Warsaw

TENNIS WIN STREAK BROKEN

The Lady Pilgrim tennis team fell for the first time Tuesday night to Concord.  The final score was 3 – 2.  The match was held at Wawasee High School as both teams tennis courts are under construction. PILGRIM TENNIS REMAINS PERFECT!!

The Plymouth Pilgrim tennis team started the week successfully on the road at South Bend Clay Monday night.  The Pilgrims swatted their way to a 5 – 0 victory over the Lady Colonials. Singles victories came from Lanae Singleton, Erin Hunter, and Ashley Harrell.  Doubles victories came from Kendall Dreibelbis/McKenzie Scheetz and Cortni Cook/Leah Smith.

JV TENNIS HOSTS INVITATIONAL

The Lady Pilgrim JV tennis team hosted an invitational on Saturday.  The Pilgrims won the eight team invitational scoring 48 points.  The other seven teams included Elkhart Memorial, Merrillville, Kokomo, La Porte, Goshen, SB Riley, and Rochester. Winning singles championships included Mary Beatty, Kyla Heckaman, and Avery Christy.  Meghan Caine/Audie Plothow won the #1 doubles
