PLYMOUTH SPRING SPORT NLC ALL-CONFERENCE MEMBERS

LANAE SINGLETON FALLS IN IHSAA TENNIS REGIONAL

PHS senior Lanae Singleton battled hard in her Regional tennis match but fell in three sets 6-2, 4-6, and 6-3 to her Elkhart Memorial opponent.  Lanae finished the year with a 25-4 record. The Elkhart Memorial opponent Lanae played ended up winning the regional, and will play next week in the individual state finals.

PHS ATHLETES, TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN UPCOMING IHSAA EVENTS

Even though school is out, Plymouth athletes are still competing in state tournaments sponsored by the IHSAA this week. The Boy’s State Track Meet will be taking place Friday at Indiana university in Bloomington.  Pilgrim high jumper Nathan Patterson will be representing the Pilgrims.  He is seeded #1 in the high jump.  His regional jump

SINGLETON WINS INDIVIDUAL IHSAA SECTIONAL TENNIS SINGLES

PHS senior Lanae Singleton won the IHSAA Sectional singles title at CGA Saturday afternoon.  Lanae defeated her Northfield High School opponent 6-0, 6-1.  The win raises her season record to 25-3 on the year. Lanae next competes in the IHSAA Regional next Saturday at LaPorte High School.  She will play against the Northridge Sectional winner. 

PILGRIM TENNIS FALLS IN IHSAA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The third time was the charm for the Warsaw Tigers in the championship match of the IHSAA Regional as they defeated our Pilgrims 3 – 2.  The Pilgrims defeated Warsaw in the regular season, and again in the NLC Championship, but the Tigers were not to be denied the third time.  Warsaw will move on

The Lady Pilgrim Tennis teammoved on in the IHSAA Regional round Tuesday night at CGA.  They defeated Manchester 5 – 0. Lanae Singleton, Erin Hunter, and Ashley Harrell all won their singles matches.  Kendall Dreibelbis/McKenzie Scheetz and Cortni Cook/Leah Smith won their doubles matches. ROCKPILE FIELD TURF PROJECT TO START SOON

Mackenzie Derifield, a member of the 2017 Class of Plymouth High School, has decided to continue her education and softball career at Ancilla College. PILGRIM TENNIS ONE STEP AWAY FROM SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The Lady Pilgrim tennis team has defeated Glenn and Laville in their first and second round matches of IHSAA Sectional tennis play at Bremen. Wednesday night the girls defeated Glenn 5 – 0.  Lanae Singleton, Erin Hunter, and Mary Blake were victorious at singles.  Winning at doubles were Kendall Dreibelbis, McKenzie Scheetz and Leah Smith/Cortni
