PILGRIM BASEBALL DEFEATS TIPPY VALLEY

The Plymouth C Team baseball team defeated Tippecanoe Valley Tuesday night at Bill Nixon Field 11 – 1 in a 10 run rule shortened game.  The C Team is made up of mostly freshmen players with a few sophomores. PILGRIM BASEBALL TANGLES WITH TIGERS

The Plymouth Pilgrim Baseball team lost a heartbreaker in NLC play Monday night to Warsaw.  The Pilgrims gave up three runs in the seventh inning to fall 3 – 2. Pitcher Cam Dennie was cruising along with a one hit shutout leading 2 – 0 going into the seventh inning when the bottom fell out. 

PILGRIM BASEBALL HOSTS 22ND ANNUAL PLYMOUTH TOURNEY

The Plymouth Pilgrim baseball team hosted their annual tourney Saturday at Bill Nixon Field.  The tourney featured three ranked teams.  The Western Panthers were ranked sixth in 3A entering the tourney while Fort Wayne Carroll was ranked 4th and Penn was ranked 18th, both in 4A. The Plymouth Athletic Department has two make-up dates for events that were postponed tonight.  The JV/V softball games originally scheduled for last night, and then tonight, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 5/9/17 at Northridge to begin at 5:30. Tonight’s 9th baseball game at Warsaw, has been rescheduled for Thursday, 5/4/17 at 5:30.
