TRISTEN McMILLEN COMMITS TO TRINE FOOTBALL

Tristen McMillen, a member of the 2017 Class of Plymouth High School, has decided to continue his education and football career at Trine University.  Trine is located in Angola, IN. HECKAMAN COMPETES AT GYMNASTICS REGIONAL

Pilgrim freshman Kyle Heckaman competed on the Balance Beam at the Huntington North IHSAA Regional competition Friday night.  She competed against 27 other girls on the beam apparatus. Her final recorded score on the night was 8.150.  That placed her in 20th position.  The winning score was posted by a girl from Fort Wayne Dwenger. 

KYLA HECKAMAN TO COMPETE AT IHSAA GYMNASTICS REGIONAL

Freshman Kyla Heckaman will represent Plymouth High School at the Huntington North IHSAA Gymnastics Regional Friday evening in the balance beam.  Competition will begin at 6:00 PM.  She will be competing against 12 others girls from the Lakeland and Fort Wayne Concordia sectionals. FORMER PLYMOUTH ATHLETE, COACH, FRED KEHOE DIES

1946 PHS graduate Fred Kehoe died last week in Muncie, IN.  Fred participated in football, basketball, and track/field for the Pilgrims.  His head coach in all three sports was Art Thomas. PILGRIM GYMNASTS COMPETE AT SECTIONAL; HECKAMAN QUALIFIES FOR REGIONAL

The Plymouth gymnastics team participated in the IHSAA Sectional Saturday at Lakeland High School.  A total of 11 teams had gymnasts compete.  The Pilgrims finished in 8th place overall with a score of 91.425. NLC ALL-SPORTS TALLY AT THE CONCLUSION OF WINTER SPORTS

The winter sport season has ended for NLC competition.  On the girl’s side of the ledger, the Northridge Raiders took a commanding lead with their championships in basketball and swimming.  They now lead second place Warsaw by 10 points and third place Concord by 17 points. GYMNASTIC’S TEAM COMPETES AT LOGANSPORT

The Plymouth Gymnastic’s team traveled to Logansport Saturday to participate in their invitational.  The Pilgrims finished in third place scoring 93.7 points. Freshmen Kyla Heckaman finished in 5th place in the All-Around with a 33.3 score.  Sophomore Julia Marohn finished with a 30.25 All-Around score while junior Bailey Eveland finished with a 30.15 All-Around score.
