IHSAA GIRL’S BASKETBALL TOURNEY DRAW HELD MONDAY NIGHT

The 41st Annual IHSAA Girl’s Basketball Tournament draw was held at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse Monday in Indianapolis.  The tournament begins next week. GIRL’S BASKETBALL LOSES NLC CONTEST AT WAWASEE

The girl’s basketball team traveled to Wawasee for an NLC contest Saturday night.  Wawasee defeated the Pilgrims in double overtime 57-55. The Pilgrims were lead by Nicole Horvath’s double double.  She had 17 points and 14 rebounds.  Halle Reichard also added 15 points to aide the Pilgrim cause. The loss drops the Pilgrims to 1-5

FRESHMEN BASKETBALL TEAMS LOSE AT WAWASEE

Both boy’s and girl’s freshmen basketball teams traveled to Wawasee Thursday night.  Both came home losers.  The girls lost 38-30 while the boys came home with a 49-33 loss. LADY PILGRIMS LOSE TO #2 2A ROCHESTER ZEBRAS

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims traveled to Rochester Wednesday night to face the #2 rated 2A team in the state, the Rochester Zebras.  The Zebras defeated the Pilgrims 56-41 in a non-conference contest. The young Lady Pilgrims traveled to LaPorte Tuesday night and defeated the Lady Slicers 46-28.  The Pilgrims lead throughout the non-conference contest. The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims traveled to Concord Saturday and came home with their first NLC victory of the year.  They defeated Concord handily 60-42. FRESHMEN PILGRIMS WIN TWO GAMES MONDAY

Both freshmen basketball teams were in action Monday night.  The freshmen girls hosted Mishawaka and defeated the Lady Cavemen 36-14.  The boys traveled to Bourbon Monday night and defeated Triton 31-19. LADY PILGRIMS LOSE TO ELKHART MEMORIAL

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims hosted Elkhart Memorial Saturday afternoon at The Rock.  Memorial won the varsity contest 56-51. The Pilgrims were lead by freshman Halle Reichard with 17 points.  Alli Andrews added 16 points 11 rebounds and 6 assists.  Nicole Horvath put in 12 points. The loss moves the Pilgrims to 7-9 on the year
