MACK MERCER/BELMONT BRUINS 1ST TEAM IN “BIG DANCE”

Former Pilgrim Mack Mercer and his Belmont Bruins won the Ohio Valley Conference tournament Saturday night in Nashville, TN.  They were the first team to qualify for the NCAA Division I basketball tournament this year. Belmont went into the tournament as the #3 seed.  They defeated Eastern Illinois in the first game 97-64, upset #2
