PHS SENIOR BRITTNEY KLOTZ IS HEADED TO GRACE COLLEGE

PILGRIM BASKETBALL HOSTS TOUGH DOUBLE HOME WEEKEND

Poor weather and rescheduling have allowed the Plymouth Pilgrim Boy’s Basketball team to host their second home double weekend of the year.  Friday night the Pilgrims host Huntington North while Saturday brings Al Rhodes and the Penn Kingsmen to town. PILGRIMS COMPETE TONIGHT IN SWIM SECTIONAL

The Pilgrim Boy’s Swim team will start competition tonight in the IHSAA Swim Sectional.  The Sectional will take place at Warsaw High School starting at 5:30.  This is the preliminary round to determine the finals that will take place Saturday afternoon starting at 1:00 PM. LADY PILGRIM GYMNASTS HOST LAPORTE

The Lady Pilgrim Gymnastics team hosted LaPorte Monday night in a dual meet.  The Pilgrims downed the Slicers 95.4 – 80. JV/VARSITY BASKETBALL POSTPONED TONIGHT

The Penn @ Plymouth JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games have been postponed tonight because of inclement weather.  They have been rescheduled for Saturday, 2/16/19.  JV tip off is scheduled for 6:15 PM.

9TH BOYS BASKETBALL COMPETES IN NLC TOURNEY

Plymouth High School was the host of the loser’s bracket part of the Freshmen NLC Boy’s Basketball tourney Saturday morning.  Other NLC schools that lost their first round game included Concord, Goshen, and Elkhart Memorial. ALEX VANCZA COMMITS TO BETHEL COLLEGE

Alex Vancza, a member of the 2019 Class of Plymouth High School, has decided to continue his education and swim career at Bethel College.  Bethel is located in Mishawaka. PLYMOUTH/GOSHEN JV/VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL RESCHEDULED

The JV and Varsity boy’s basketball games vs. Goshen have been rescheduled for a third time.  They will be played Thursday, 2/21/19 at The Rock.  JV start time is set for 6:00. They had previously been postponed twice by complications caused by the weather.

IHSAA STATE WRESTLING FINALS POSTED

The IHSAA has made the draw for the IHSAA Wrestling State Finals slated for Banker’s Life Fieldhouse next Friday and Saturday.  Graham Calhoun will be representing the Rockie Wrestlers at Indianapolis next weekend. PILGRIMS FALL TO PENN IN IHSAA REGIONAL

The Lady Pilgrim Basketball team hung tough for a half against undefeated and 2nd ranked Penn Saturday at LaPorte in the IHSAA Regional.  The Pilgrims trailed 20-14 after 16 minutes of play.  But a spirited defensive effort by the Lady Kingsmen held the Pilgrims down in the second half leading Penn to a 47-28 victory.
