Plymouth High School Fall athletics are well underway in 2014. There have been three noteworthy performances to highlight so far this year. The JV Rockies were postponed Saturday morning due to the rescheduling of the Varsity football game vs. Warsaw Saturday afternoon. The JV Rockies will make-up their game Monday night @ Warsaw beginning at 6:00.
The Plymouth Rockies won their first NLC game of the year Saturday afternoon at the Rockpile 41-6. The game was suspended Friday night due to inclement weather. The Rockies will be in action again next Friday night when they head to Northridge for their next NLC battle against the Raiders. Kickoff is set for 7:30.
The Plymouth Rockies and Warsaw Tigers got their game going on time Friday night but it was quickly postponed because of inclement weather. The game will pick up on Saturday afternoon at 2PM with the Rockies leading Warsaw 7-3 with approximately six minutes to go in the first quarter.
The make-up date for the Plymouth/Warsaw JV/V girl’s soccer game is Wednesday, 9/24/14. Start time for the JV game is set for 5:00 at Don Kindt Field located directly north of Plymouth High School.
The Plymouth Boy’s Soccer team won their pool at their annual Blueberry Soccer tournament over the Labor Day weekend. Saturday they defeated Trinity of Greenlawn (South Bend) 3-2. The also defeated Mishawaka 5-2 Saturday afternoon. On Monday, the Rockies defeated Lakeland Christian 7-4. With the three wins, the Rockies move their record to 5-0-1 on

The Plymouth Pilgrim varsity volleyball team finish 2nd in their own Powerball tourney on Saturday, 8/30/14. The Pilgrims defeated Highland, Muncie Burris, and defending champion New Prairie on their way to the championship game. The Plymouth Rockies defeated the Rochester Zebras in a game that began Friday night but didn’t end until Saturday morning. A two hour and 20 minute delay because of a thunderstorm made the evening a long one for all that stayed to the end. The Rockies scored the winning TD with just over a minute
