Pilgrims finish 2nd in 2014 Powerball Tourney

The Plymouth Pilgrim varsity volleyball team finish 2nd in their own Powerball tourney on Saturday, 8/30/14.  The Pilgrims defeated Highland, Muncie Burris, and defending champion New Prairie on their way to the championship game.  The Pilgrims were defeated by the Valparaiso Vikings in the championship match.  Pilgrims named to the all-tourney team include seniors Cassi

Rockies defeat Zebras 38-35

The Plymouth Rockies defeated the Rochester Zebras in a game that began Friday night but didn’t end until Saturday morning.  A two hour and 20 minute delay because of a thunderstorm made the evening a long one for all that stayed to the end.  The Rockies scored the winning TD with just over a minute

Plymouth Boy’s Soccer hosts Blueberry Soccer Tourney

The Plymouth Boy’s Soccer team hosts their annual Blueberry Soccer tourney Saturday, 8/30/14 and Monday, 9/1/14.  The tourney begins on 8/30/14 at 9AM and continues Monday (Labor Day) at 10AM.  The competing teams in the pool play tourney include Elkhart Memorial, Logansport, South Bend Clay, Winamac, Lakeland Christian, Mishawaka, and Trinity of Greenlawn(South Bend).  The

Pilgrim Volleyball hosts Powerball Tourney Saturday

The Plymouth Pilgrims varsity volleyball team will host their annual Powerball Tourney on Saturday, 8/30/14.  Play begins at 9AM in this round robin pool play tournament.    The other seven teams in the tourney include Penn, Valparaiso, Lake Central, New Prairie, Southwood, Highland, and Muncie Burris.  New Prairie is the defending champion.

9th Football defeats Northwood

The Plymouth Rockies Freshmen football team scored a TD with four seconds to go to defeat NLC foe Northwood Thursday night 20-15.  It was the first game of the year for the young Rockies.  They play at Glenn next Thursday beginning at 5:30.
