The Plymouth Rockies wrestling team opened their season successfully on Saturday.  The varsity traveled to CMA for their annual Early Bird Tournament . Lady Pilgrims Host Valpo Saturday

The Lady Pilgrims Basketball team will host the Valparaiso Vikings in 9th, JV, and Varsity basketball on Saturday at The Rock.  The 9th girls basketball team opens the day by battling Valpo at 11:00 AM.  The 9th girl’s team currently has a record of 1-1 defeating Logansport but losing to Warsaw. Pilgrim Volleyballers Named Academic All-State

Seniors Libbie Portteus and Haley Harrell were named to the 2014 Indiana High School Volleyball Academic All-State teams recently.  Libbie was named to the 1st Team Academic All-State Volleyball team while Haley was named to the Honorable Mention squad.  Congratulations to these two fine student-athletes!!

Lady Pilgrims Open with Win at Peru

The Lady Pilgrims of Dave Duncan opened their season at the Tig-Arena in Peru Thursday night.  The Pilgrims tamed the Tigers with a 61-32 win.  Senior Kaydon Fosler lead the Pilgrims with 13 points.  Hunter Stevens and Haley Harrell both scored 11 points each.  The JV Pilgrims also picked up their first win defeating Peru

Plymouth Athletics – Former Mental Attitude Award Winners – Carin Benge Rojas

This is the fifth in a series of seven articles on former Pilgrim/Rockie Mental Attitude Award Winners.  Mental Attitude Awards are given to an individual that participated in the IHSAA State Finals in his/her respective sport. Carin Benge Rojas was a senior on the 2001 Plymouth Pilgrims’ basketball team that finished runner-up to Indianapolis Cathedral
