PILGRIM GYMNASTS OPEN SEASON AT ELKART CENTRAL INVITE

The Plymouth Pilgrim’s gymnastics team opened their season Saturday at the Elkhart Central Invitational.  The Pilgrims finished second to the host Blue Blazers.  Elkhart Central finished first (99.8) followed by the Pilgrims (90.75), Lakeland (81.5), and Westview (29.6). LADY PILGRIMS SPLIT AT WAWASEE SHOOT-OUT

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims basketball team split a pair of games Saturday at the Wawasee Shoot-Out.  The Pilgrims lost to Norwell 63-49 and defeated Indianapolis Brebeuf in the nightcap 62-23. The Pilgrims trailed Norwell throughout the game.  Senior Hunter Stevens lead the Pilgrims with 20 points and five rebounds.  Freshman Alli Andrews had 12 points

LADY PILGRIMS TO PLAY IN WAWASEE SHOOT-OUT

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims basketball team will participate in the Wawasee Varsity Basketball Shoot-Out on Saturday.  The Pilgrims are 8-3 on the year but have lost three of their last four games including an NLC loss to Northwood. BOY’S BASKETBALL HAS SUCCESSFUL DAY AT WESTVIEW

The Plymouth Pilgrims played in a Shoot-Out at Westview High School on Tuesday.  All three levels played in the tourney. BOY’S BASKETBALL WILL PLAY IN WESTVIEW SHOOT-OUT

The Plymouth boy’s basketball teams will participate in an all-day shoot-out Tuesday at Westview High School.  The freshmen, JV, and Varsity teams will all participate. The day begins for our JV team at 9:00 AM when they play Lakeland.  The freshmen team will face-off against Westview at 10:15, while the JV team finishes their day

JV GIRL’S BASKETBALL HOSTS TOURNEY MONDAY

The Plymouth JV girl’s basketball team will host a four team tourney on Monday.  Play will begin at 10:00 AM.  Northridge will play Tippy Valley in the auxiliary gym while the Pilgrims will host Northwood in the varsity gym.  The losers will play in the auxiliary gym while the winners play in the varsity gym

PILGRIMS TRAVEL TO SOUTH BEND RILEY TUESDAY NIGHT

The Plymouth Pilgrims travel to South Bend Riley Tuesday night to take on the Wildcats.  Riley defeated the Pilgrims in the semi-final contest of the South Bend Washington sectional last year 51-46.  The Pilgrims are 9-26 overall against Riley.  Their last win against the Wildcats came during the 1981-82 season when the Pilgrims pulled out

LADY PILGRIMS LOSE AT NORTHWOOD

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims traveled to Northwood Saturday night and came away with a hard fought loss 43-38.  The Pilgrims stumbled out of the gate and trailed 18-2 at the end of the first quarter.  The Pilgrims eventually took a one point lead late in the game but could not hold on for a victory.

ROCKIE WRESTLERS PIN FIVE OPPONENTS

The Plymouth Rockies traveled to Wawasee Saturday for an invitational and came away with five victories.  Included in those five victories were two conference wins.
