PILGRIMS ENTERTAIN MEMORIAL SATURDAY AFTERNOON

The Plymouth Pilgrims finish their NLC season Saturday afternoon at The Rock.  The Pilgrims host the Elkhart Memorial Crimson Chargers with the JV tip-off scheduled for 12:00 PM. SWIM SECTIONAL POSTPONED

The Warsaw swim sectional has been postponed tonight.  It has been rescheduled for Friday beginning at 5:00.

PILGRIMS DOWN KINGSMEN

PLYMOUTH’S LUKE VERVYNCKT HONORED BY IHSAA

Plymouth junior Luke Vervynckt will be honored tonight before the start of the boy’s varsity basketball game with Penn.  Luke was nominated and won the IHSAA School Spirit Award.  He is now nominated for the National School Spirit Award. Below is the press release from the IHSAA: 201502171020  

PILGRIMS ENTERTAIN PENN KINGSMEN

The Plymouth Pilgrims will host the Penn Kingsmen Tuesday night at The Rock.  Penn is currently 19-2 on the year, and is currently on a 13 game winning streak.  Their two losses have been to Fort Wayne Carroll and Brownsburg. PILGRIM GYMNASTS COMPETE AT LOGANSPORT

The Plymouth Pilgrim Gymnastics team traveled to Logansport Saturday to compete at their Invitational.  As a team, the Pilgrims finished third in the six team invite with a score of 91.4. Senior Cassi Quissell finished second in the All-Around competition with a score of 34.35.  Junior Karly Gruett finished in 6th place in the floor

ROCKIE WRESTLERS AT MERRILLVILLE SEMI-STATE

Four Rockie wrestlers advanced to the IHSAA Semi-State at Merrillville.  Freshmen Zane DeVault (113) lost his first match to Rickie Rodriguez from Hammond Morton by a score of 9-5.  Junior Cody Allmon (126) won his first round match over Chris Trent from New Prairie 6-0.  He lost his second round match 9-5 to Chris Diaz
