PILGRIM TENNIS GETS DOUBLE WINS THIS WEEKEND

The Plymouth Pilgrims tennis team picked up two wins over the weekend.  Friday night they defeated Glenn 5-0 and Saturday they defeated West Lafayette 4-1. PILGRIM BASEBALL GETS 1ST WIN FRIDAY

The Plymouth Pilgrims baseball team earned their first win of the year Friday night beating South Central 9-6.  Justin Drudge and Cody Gamble had two hits apiece for the Pilgrims.  Drudge had a home run and Gamble had two doubles. BOY’S TRACK OPENS SEASON WEDNESDAY AT LAPORTE

The boy’s track team opened their season Wednesday night at LaPorte.  Mishawaka defeated the Pilgrims 66.5-64.5 while LaPorte defeated the Pilgrims 102-30. AJ Styers was a quadruple winner for the Pilgrims.  He won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.32 and the 300 meter hurdles in 42.82.  He was also a member of

GIRL’S TRACK OPENS SEASON THURSDAY NIGHT

The Plymouth girl’s track team opened their season Thursday night at home against LaPorte and Mishawaka.  The Pilgrims tied Mishawaka 64-64 and defeated LaPorte 78-54. Senior Allie Wright earned three blue ribbons and one red ribbon.  She won the 100 meter dash and 800 meter run.  She was part of the winning 800 meter relay

BASEBALL PILGRIMS OPEN SEASON WEDNESDAY NIGHT

The Plymouth Pilgrim varsity baseball team opened their season Wednesday night against the South Bend St. Joe Indians.  The Pilgrims fell to St. Joe 1-0.  The Indians scored an unearned run on a sacrifice fly in the 6th inning and held on for the victory. FOUR PLYMOUTH ROCKIES SIGN LETTERS-OF-INTENT

Four Plymouth Rockie football players have signed letters-of-intent to continue their education and football playing careers at the next level.  Nat Hiatt, Kyle Lacefield, Jacob LaFree, and Chaz Scruggs all made THE DECISION. JV and Varsity Softball Play @ Mishawaka

The softball teams traveled to Mishawaka Tuesday night to open their 2015 spring season.  The varsity was defeated by Mishawaka 17-0 while the JV lost 14-6. The PHS JV and Varsity baseball teams will host South Bend St Joe on Wednesday at 4:45.  The PHS C Team baseball team will travel to Rochester Wednesday to play the Zebra JV team.  Game time at Rochester is set for 5:00.
