Lady Pilgrims Beat Tippy Valley in 3 OT’s

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims basketball team got a huge win on the road last night at Tippecanoe Valley.  The Pilgrims defeated the Vikings 56-48.  With the win, the Pilgrims move to 7-0 on the season.  Valley falls to 4-1 on the season. Valley lead at the end of the 3rd quarter by a score of


Rockie junior defensive back Cam Eveland was named Associated Press 4A 1st team All-State recently.  He finished second in the state in interceptions with 10. Receiving 4A Honorable Mention awards include ILB senior Caleb Weirs, senior wide receiver Justin Drudge, and junior quarterback Jack Barron. Congratulations to these PHS student-athletes!!


The Plymouth High School Gymnastics and Softball teams are hosting a “Parent’s Day Away” for area parents that want to take three hours off from their kids so they may accomplish some of those December projects that are sometimes difficult to complete. Pilgrims Beat Redskins at The Rock

The Plymouth Pilgrims were not kind hosts to the Knox Redskins Wednesday night as they defeated their opponents 38-19.  The Pilgrims lead 22-8 at halftime and never looked back. Nine different Pilgrims dented the scoreboard lead by senior forward Hunter Stevens with nine points and five rebounds.  As a team, the Pilgrims had 19 steals

Lady Pilgrims entertain Knox Redskins Tonight

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims host the Knox Redskins tonight at The Rock.  JV start time is set for 6:15.  The Pilgrims currently sport an unblemished 5-0 record.  The have beaten Peru, Laville, Triton, Valparaiso, and Bremen. The Pilgrims are outscoring their opponents 56.0 – 34.4 so far this year.  The Pilgrims are lead in scoring

Plymouth Athletics – Former Mental Attitude Award Winners – Jessica Centa

This is the sixth in a series of seven articles on former Pilgrim/Rockie Mental Attitude Award winners.  Mental Attitude Awards are given to an individual that participated in the IHSAA State Finals in his/her respective sport. Jessica Centa was the Patricia Roy Mental Attitude Award winner in 2008 for the 3A Girl’s State Basketball Finals. 


The Plymouth Pilgrims opened up their 2014-2015 season with a win over Marshall County foe Bremen 89-36 at The Rock Saturday night.  The Pilgrims jumped out to a quick 23-6 lead at the end of the 1st quarter and never looked back. The Pilgrims were lead by senior post player Tyler England with 24 points.
