GO BIG RED DISCOUNT CARDS ON SALE THIS WEEK

The Plymouth High School Athletic Department has their 15th Annual “Go Big Red” Discount Cards on sale this week from our spring athletes.  The cost of the card remains at $10. Discounts can be earned from the following Plymouth businesses: (1)  Bourbon Street Pizza  (2)  Mooney’s Ice Cream  (3)  Sweet Treats  (4)  Uncle Doug’s Barber

IHSAA RELEASES SPORTS CLASSIFICATION NUMBERS

The IHSAA has released their classification numbers for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.  The Plymouth High School enrollment number rose to 1120 students since the last classification.  We are the 94th largest high school in the State of Indiana.  Two years ago we were the 98th largest school in the State.  Four years ago we

GIRL’S TENNIS SCHEDULE CHANGE

The Friday, 4/17/15 girl’s tennis match scheduled against CGA has a location change.  The match will now be played at CGA. CGA hosts the IHSAA girl’s tennis regional on 5/27/15.  They may also host the IHSAA semi-state on 5/30/15 according to the CMA/CGA Athletic Office.

PILGRIM BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL TEAMS OPEN SEASON WEDNESDAY

The Plymouth Pilgrim baseball and softball teams will open their season Wednesday.  The baseball team will scrimmage Culver while the softball team will scrimmage Argos.  Both games will begin at 4:45, and be played in Centennial Park.

PHS SENIOR HALEY HARRELL EARNS EUGENE CATO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

PHS senior athlete Haley Harrell has earned one of the 13 Cato Memorial Scholarships awarded by the Indiana High School Athletic Association.  Haley is the first PHS athlete in history to earn this prestigious award. The IHSAA has partnered with Methodist Sports Medicine, the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Fever, the Indiana Pacers, Sports Graphics, Inc.

GO BIG RED DISCOUNT CARD SALES BEGIN THIS WEEK

The 15th Annual sale of the Plymouth High School Athletic Department “GO BIG RED” Discount Card began on Monday.  Orders for the cards will be taken through this Saturday, 4/4/15.  100% of the money is used to benefit the Plymouth High School Athletic Department.  The cards are $10. ROCKIE JACK BARRON SELECTED FOR 2015 FOOTBALL DIGEST COVER

Returning Rockie starting quarterback Jack Barron was selected as one of the top 25 Preseason Indiana High School football players for the 2015 season.  The top 25 met on Sunday at the Indianapolis Colts Training Complex. CASSI QUISSELL – GYMNASTICS STATE FINAL RESULTS

PHS senior gymnast Cassi Quissell capped off her high school career with a 15th place finish in the All-Around category at the State Finals on the campus of Ball State University.  She scored a 36.400. Cassi had a 23rd place finish in the Vault with a score of 9.15.  She finished 13th on the Bars

CASSI QUISSELL @ IHSAA GYMNASTICS STATE FINALS

PHS senior Cassi Quissell will participate in the IHSAA Gymnastics State Finals Saturday in Worthen Arena on the campus of Ball State University.  Cassi will head down to Muncie on Friday afternoon in preparation for the competition on Saturday afternoon.
