PLYMOUTH BOY’S BASKETBALL CAMP

The Plymouth High School Boy’s Basketball Coaches and Players will be running its annual boy’s basketball camp June 22-25 at Plymouth High School for boys in Grades K-4 (14-15 grade level).  The cost to attend is $35 and will include a t-shirt sponsored by Oliver Ford of Plymouth.  We will also use this week for

PLYMOUTH TENNIS – END OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Several Plymouth tennis players were recently named to the District 3 Team.  Those included Erin Hunter, Lanae Singleton, Jessica Stillson, Haley Harrell, Libbie Portteus, Kendall Dreibelbis, and McKenzie Scheetz. Three players also made the All-State Academic Team.  Those included Jessica Stillson, Haley Harrell, and Libbie Portteus. Congratulations to these PHS athletes!

PLYMOUTH GOLFERS IN WARSAW REGIONAL

The Plymouth Golf team competed in the Warsaw Regional at Stonehenge Golf Course Thursday.  The Pilgrims finished in 11th place out of 18 schools.  They shot a 332 as a team. Individual scores included:  Ben Schenk – 82, John Schenk – 83, Hudson Yoder – 83, Reis Yoder – 83, and Micah Calhoun – 93.

SENIOR MAX HOLLOWAY COMMITS TO MARION MILITARY INSTITUTE

Max Holloway, a member of the 2015 class at Plymouth High School has decided to continue his education and tennis career at Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama.  Marion is a military junior college.  Max hopes to then qualify to get into the Coast Guard.  Max is the son of Larry and Michele Holloway. KAYDON FOSLER AND ALLIE WRIGHT PARTICIPATE IN STATE TRACK FINALS

PHS seniors Kaydon Fosler and Allie Wright both participated in the State Track Finals at Bloomington on Saturday. Kaydon finished 8th in the high jump with a leap of 5-4.  Allie ran in the 800 meter run and finished 13th overall.  She did run her personal best time of 2:16.81.  The time was nearly one

SOFTBALL CAMP POSTPONED TODAY

The first day of the Plymouth Softball Camp has been postponed due to inclement weather.  It will now run from Tuesday-Thursday 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM.

PILGRIM GOLFERS FINISH 2ND IN IHSAA SECTIONAL

Friday morning the Plymouth Pilgrim golf team participated in the Warsaw Golf Sectional at Rozella Ford Golf Course.  The Pilgrims shot a 305 good for 2nd place behind Columbia City.  The Eagles shot a 303. KAYDON FOSLER / ALLIE WRIGHT AT STATE TRACK FINALS

The Girl’s State Track Finals will take place at Indiana University in Bloomington Saturday.  Two Pilgrims will be competing. Senior Kaydon Fosler will compete in the high jump.  It will start at 3:30. Last week Kaydon set the school record clearing 5’6″.  She is seeded 3rd with three other girls that also jumped 5’6″. (3) PILGRIMS ELECTED TO BASEBALL ALL-CONFERENCE

Three Plymouth Pilgrim baseball players have been voted in on the NLC All-Conference team.  Those include senior shortstop Justin Drudge, senior catcher Elijah Nixon, and junior pitcher/3rd baseman Braydon Davidson.  A total of 20 people made the All-Conference team. PILGRIMS FALL SHORT IN SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The Plymouth Pilgrims came up on the short end of a 5-0 baseball sectional championship game.  Penn scored all five runs in the first two innings to secure the victory. Starter Brayden Davidson only lasted 1 1/3 innings giving up all five runs.  Three of which were earned.  Brandon Milligan came in the second inning
