Plymouth High School Varsity Wrestling Results:

Plymouth scored a 62-6 victory over NLC opponent Elkhart Memorial. Wrestling begin at the 138 pound weight class with Jordan Howard securing a pin in the second period putting the Rockies up by a 6-0 score. Tyler Richey continued the attack by getting a pin in the second period. Next up was sophomore Bradey Pittman. After a couple take downs Pittman put his opponent on his back and the match ended in a pin giving the Rockies a 18-0 lead. At 160 pounds number 16th ranked in the state, Kayden Georing, took on Zach Truitt. Truitt battled hard but Georing pick up the only team points for the Chargers with a pin. Graham Calhoun added to the score with a 23-8 Tech Fall increasing the lead to 23-6. This runs Calhoun’s record to 28-0 on the season. Following Calhoun was Ethan Pike with a 5 second take down and then pinning his opponent in the second period. Sam Driver and Diego Garcia both received forfeits to move the score to 41-6. Reggie Vazquez moved up from the 220 pound weight class to wrestle the heavy weight class and picked up an 8-3 decision. After double forfeits at 106 and 113 Max Howard at 120 and Nate Derifield at 126 picked up a forfeits to make it a 56-6 score. Plymouth finish the night with Dominic Smith pinning his Memorial opponent in the first period to give the Rockies a 62-6 victory.
