The Plymouth Lady Pilgrim Swim team opened their 2019-2020 season Thursday night and christened their new swim facility with a pair of wins. The Pilgrims downed Oregon-Davis 138-32 while also downing Jimtown 139-35.
Graci Holm, Marley Houin, and Rachel Jacobs were all quadruple 1st place winners for the Pilgrims. Graci took firsts in the 200 Medley Relay, 200 yard IM, 100 Backstroke, and 400 Free Relay. Marley got her firsts in 200 Medley Relay, 50 Free, 100 Butterfly, and the 400 Free Relay. Rachel earned her firsts in 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay, 100 Breaststroke, and the 200 Free.
Elizabeth Bacon and Raven Gritton each won a pair of 1st place finishes along with a 2nd place finish. Liz was part of the winning 200 Medley Relay and she also a part of the winning 200 Free Relay. She got her 2nd in the 100 Free. Raven won the 500 Free and was part of the winning 400 Free Relay. She took 2nd in the 200 Free race.
Sarah Youngs was part of two winning relay teams. These were the 200 Free Relay and the 400 Free Relay.
Lyndsey Price won the Diving competition for the Pilgrims. Teammate Claudia Marohn finished 2nd in the event.
Avery Christy was part of the winning 200 Free Relay while Lucy Keirn finished 2nd in the 100 Back stroke. The team of Stephani Galindo, Leah Tanner, Charity Harter, and Kelsey Vanlue finished 2nd in the 400 Free Relay.
The results move the Pilgrims to 2-0 on the young season. Next up is a home meet against Rochester on Tuesday, 11/19/19. Scheduled start time is set for 5:30.
