The Plymouth Rockie Football team took another step toward an IHSAA Sectional Championship Friday night at The Rockpile as they defeated visiting South Bend St. Joseph. The final score was 28-12.
The Rockies struck first on this cold, blustery 39 degree night. They took the opening kickoff the length of the field with Ivan Winkle finishing the drive by scoring from two yards out. Adrian Cardona added his first of four extra points giving the Rockies a 7-0 lead 2:30 minutes into the sectional contest.
