The Plymouth Men’s Soccer team opened IHSAA Sectional Soccer action Monday night in South Bend.  South Bend Adams is the host school for the 3A Sectional.  The games are being played on the artificial surface of School Field.  The Rockies got a goal in each half to down South Bend Riley 2-0.

Brian Licona scored the first half goal for the Rockies.  He was assisted by Selvin Paguada on the goal.

The Rockies would add the difference maker midway through the second half.  Jose Rosas added a goal making the score 2-0.  Nate Hutsell pitched the shutout in goal for the Rockies.

Game 2 Monday night at School Field had Michigan City downing Mishawaka 7-2.  Semi Final play will begin Wednesday night at 5:00 as the Rockies take on Michigan City.  Game 2 Wednesday night has host South Bend Adams taking on LaPorte.  The Sectional Championship game will take place Saturday afternoon starting at 2:00 PM.
