The Lady Rockie Soccer team opened their IHSAA Sectional tournament with a big win over South Bend Washington Monday night at Don Kindt Soccerplex on the campus of Plymouth High School.  The Lady Rockies downed the Lady Panthers 10-0.

The Rockies opened the night by scoring eight goals in the first half.  A penalty kick score opened the game for the Rockies.  Aubrey Vervynckt put one in and they lead 1-0.  Vervynckt would score again soon off a pass from Lauren Manges.

Manges and Vervynckt would each get an unassisted goal to push the Rockie lead to 4-0.  Mia Wojcik would add two goals while Emma Cook and Rachael Kaylor would each add a goal all in the first half as the Rockies would build an overwhelming 8-0 lead.

Julia Kinney and Kaylee Dragani would add second half goals to make the final 10-0.  Dafne Arriaga assisted on the Dragani goal.
