Pilgrims News · VOLLEYBALL WINS NLC MATCH VS WAWASEE


Pilgrim Volleyball hosted Wawasee Thursday night in C team, JV, and Varsity Volleyball.  The Varsity Pilgrims downed their NLC opponent in three games 25-20, 25-16, and 25-17.

Junior Miranda German lead the Pilgrim attack in Kills (9) and Digs (8).  Sydni Weir added 10 assists and four serving aces.  Kenzie Snyder had 16 digs and Avery Christy added 14 assists to the victory.

The win moves the girls to 2-0 in NLC play and 8-4 overall.  Next up is a game vs Northwood at The Rock next week on Thursday.

The JV Pilgrims fell to Wawasee 5-25, 25-10, and 10-15.  Taylor Delp had four kills, Olivia Newcomb passed for eight assists, and Ellie Jones added four digs.  They are now 1-1 in the NLC and 7-5 overall.

The C Team Pilgrims fell to Wawasee 20-25 and 22-25.  Meagan Crum, Paige Feece, Erin Liedtky, and Halle Hopple lead the Pilgrim attack.  Their record is now 5-3 overall.
