Plymouth Softball played a doubleheader at South Bend Clay on Saturday.  They dropped Game 1 13-1.  They fell in Game 2 11-5 in a game they lead early.

In Game 1, errors was the story as the Pilgrims committed six of them.  They had three hits including a double by Grace Allmon.  Mia Wojcik and Annastasia Hutchings had the other two hits with Wojcik scoring the only Pilgrim run.

The Pilgrims lead 2-1 heading into the Clay third inning, and the game was tied at 5-5 into the 6th inning before the Pilgrims imploded by giving up three hits, two walks and their only error of the game.  The Lady Colonials scored six runs heading into the seventh inning.

Allmon was 3-4 in Game 2 including two RBI’s.  Wojcik, Topanga Deon, and Savannah Weston each had two hits.  Ann Anders, Amber Schrameyer, and Brooklyn Brennan also had hits.

The Pilgrims travel to Warsaw Monday night for a 5:30 start.
