The Pilgrim Freshmen Baseball team down South Bend St Joe Saturday morning in a 10 run rule contest.  The Pilgrims won 13-2 in five innings.

The Pilgrims knocked out 11 hits on the day.  Zach Masterson and Peyton Dailey had two hits each to lead the Pilgrim attack.  Masterson and Jack Yadon each had a pair of RBI’s.

Skyler Aker started on the mound for the young Pilgrims.  He went three innings on the mound gaining the victory.  He gave up four hits and recorded two strikeouts while giving up one earned run in his stint.

The win moves their record to 1-1 on the year.  Next up for the freshmen is a trip to Concord Tuesday.  The first pitch is scheduled for 5:30.
