The Plymouth High School Athletic Department will be represented the next two weekends in All-Star Games hosted by the Football and Baseball Coach’s Associations.

This week the Indiana Football Coach’s Association is hosting their annual North-South All-Star Football Game.  2018 Plymouth High School graduate Nate LaFree will be representing Rockie Football at the game.

Monday players started gathering at the University of Indianapolis for their four days of practice.  Practices were scheduled to take place this week Monday-Thursday.  The student-athletes were being housed in dorms on the campus of the University of Indianapolis.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for this Friday at North Central High School.  Game time is set for 7:00 PM.

Next weekend 2018 Plymouth High School graduate Benji Nixon will be representing Pilgrim Baseball in the North/South All-Star Series.  The annual All-Star Games will be played at Four Winds Field in South Bend, Home of the Class A minor league team South Bend Cubs.

The games will be played on Saturday, 7/21/18 and Sunday, 7/22/18.  Saturday will be a doubleheader while the Sunday game will be played with wooden bats.

LaFree plans to continue his football career this fall by attending Hillsdale College in Michigan.  Benji has decided to not continue his baseball career as he will be attending Indiana University in Bloomington.  These two PHS student-athletes shared the prestigious Kizer Award this spring at PHS.  The award is given to the top male athlete each year.

Good luck to both of these former PHS athletes as they participate one more time in a high school event representing Plymouth High School!
