2018 PHS Senior Nathan Patterson was recently named Gatorade Indiana Boys Track and Field Athlete-of-the-Year.  Nathan won back-to-back State High Jump Championships in 2017 and 2018.  During his senior year this past spring, Nate Pat broke the Indiana State High Jump record clearing 7′ 4″ on his second attempt.

This is the 33rd consecutive year for the Gatorade-Player-of-the-Year program.  The program recognizes the nation’s most outstanding high school athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement, and exemplary character.

For this achievement, Plymouth High School will be receiving a trophy and a banner for display.  Nate Pat will also be receiving a trophy for his achievement.  Nate will also be able to select a sport-based organization that will receive a $1000 check from Gatorade.

Congratulations, Nate, and good luck at the University of Southern California this fall!
