Pilgrims News · PLYMOUTH STUDENT-ATHLETES ATTEND IHSAA STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Five Plymouth High School student-athletes recently attended the annual IHSAA sponsored Leadership Conference.  The conference took place at Plainfield High School on Tuesday, 6/19/18.  Nearly 1000 student-athletes from around Indiana attended the 2018 conference.

Student-athletes representing Plymouth High School included sophomore Owen Bockman, junior Olive Stanton, junior Alaina Clady, sophomore Ann Anders, and sophomore Ava LoMagro.  They were accompanied by outgoing PHS Athletic Director Roy Benge and newly appointed Athletic Director Michael Delp.

Also representing Plymouth and the IHSAA Tuesday at Plainfield High School was senior Cece Robinson.  Cece is one of the 18 members of the IHSAA Student Leadership committee.

One of Cece’s job for this Student Leadership Conference was to secure a speaker for one of the 18 break-out sessions student-athletes attended.  Cece was able to get 2007 Plymouth High School graduate Dr. Jason Renz to speak.  Jason was a member of our 2007 3A State Basketball Championship team.  He was also the Trester Award winner.  Jason is now a dentist in Fishers working in the Team Green Dentistry office.  Each student-athlete attending the conference attended three different break-out sessions during the day.
