Pilgrims Official Sponsor


The Lady Pilgrim Softball team hosted Tippecanoe Valley Friday night in Centennial Park.  The Pilgrims fell 7-4.

The Pilgrims fell behind 3-0 after 4 1/2 innings but battled back to tie it with two runs in the fifth inning and one run in the sixth inning.  Valley rallied with four runs in the 7th inning.  The Pilgrims did score a run in the seventh inning and had the tying run at the plate before Valley was able to garner the third out ending the game.

Jena Downs went 3-4 with a double and two RBI’s to lead the Pilgrim attack.  Audrey Himes went 2-4 with an RBI.

The Loss drops the Pilgrims to 2-2 on the year.  They are scheduled to open NLC play Monday night hosting Elkhart Memorial at 5:30.

The JV Pilgrims fell at Valley 24-8.  Ann Anders had three of the seven Pilgrim hits on the night.
