A new facility the Pilgrim Softball and Baseball teams will be able to take advantage of this spring is the artificial turf at The Rockpile. Early in the spring, the baseball and softball fields are not available for our programs as they are drying out from the winter freeze. This spring both squads will now be able to take advantage of the football turf. Both teams will be able to play catch while also taking advantage of fielding ground balls and fly balls on the turf. Of course they cannot do this while outdoor track practice is taking place.
Another annual event that takes place is the selling of the Sports Cards. Each spring our sports teams sell these discount cards for $10 each. On the back of each card is a list of businesses where you can use the card to receive discounts on their products they sell. The card is good for a year, and it usually pays for itself if you use it just two times during that year
The Spring Picture Night will take place on Wednesday, 4/11/18 in the PHS Auditorium. This is a time when each head coach will introduce his or her assistant coaches and their senior athletes. Each team will have the opportunity to get their team and individual pictures taken.
The PHS Athletic Department would love to see you at an athletic event this spring! Schedules for each sport are available on this website. If you would like a copy of of the entire spring schedule, we have handy pocket schedules in our athletic office. GO PILGRIMS!!
