The Plymouth Lady Pilgrim basketball team traveled to Mishawaka Marian Tuesday night for a non-conference game against the Lady Knights.  The Pilgrims fell short 55-43.

The Pilgrims trailed throughout the contest against Marian.  They trailed by four at the end of the first quarter, was behind 26-21 at halftime, had their most productive quarter scoring 18 points in the third quarter, and was outscored 12-4 in the fourth quarter.

Senior Allie Andrews lead the Pilgrim attack again scoring 18 points and handed out four assists.  Sophomore Claire Tanner was the only other Pilgrim to hit double figures scoring 13 points.

As a team, the Pilgrims only corralled eight rebounds on the night compared to 25 rebounds for Marian.

The loss moves the Pilgrims to 1-2 on the year.  Next up is a trip to Michigan City on Saturday against a tough Lady Wolves team.  JV start time is scheduled for 12:30 EST at Michigan City High School.

Mishawaka Marian did not have enough players to compete at the JV level so the game was cancelled against our JV Lady Pilgrims.
