Multiple Teams · PILGRIM /ROCKIES WINTER SPORT TEAMS IN ACTION


The Plymouth Pilgrim and Rockie Winter Sport Teams have started, or will be starting soon.

The girl’s basketball team under Head Coach Dave Duncan are in their second week of practice.  They have a planned scrimmage this Saturday night at Wabash High School.  Scrimmage start time is set for 6:00.  They open their season next week on Tuesday at South Bend Washington.  JV start time is set for 6:00.  Their first home game is scheduled for Thursday, 11/16/17 vs Triton.

The 9th girl’s basketball team open their season next week on Wednesday, 11/1/17 as they travel to Mishawaka.  Their home opener will be Thursday, 11/9/17 vs Logansport at 6:00.

The girl’s swim team had their first practice yesterday (Monday, 10/23/17).  Their first swim meet will be at Rochester on Tuesday, 11/14/17 starting at 5:30.  Their Head Coach is Leanne Senter.

The Plymouth Rockies Wrestling team will open their season on Monday, 10/30/17 with their first practice.  Their first meet will be held at CMA on Saturday, 11/18/17.  The wrestlers will once again be coached by Bob Read.

The Plymouth Pilgrim boy’s swim team and Pilgrim boy’s basketball team will have their first practice on Monday, 11/6/17.  The swim team will have their first meet on Tuesday, 11/28/17 at New Prairie.  The boy’s basketball team will scrimmage against Munster on Saturday, 11/18/17 at The Rock starting at 6:00.  Their season opener will be on Wednesday, 11/22/17 at Glenn while the home opener will be Saturday, 11/25/17 vs New Prairie.  Swim team head coach is Leanne Senter while the basketball team is coached by Ryan Bales.

The final winter sport to start is gymnastics.  Their first practice will take place on Monday, 11/13/17.  Their first meet will be 12/30/17 at the Elkhart Central Invitational.  They are coached this year by Mandy McPherron and Sheri Heckaman.

The winter “Meet the Teams Night” and picture night will take place on Monday, 11/13/17 starting at 6:00 in the auditorium.  Each head coach will introduce their senior athletes and give some expectations about their upcoming seasons.
