The Plymouth Rockies varsity football team lost their first contest of the 2017 season Friday night at The Rockpile.  The final against Northridge was 12-0.

The Raider defense stymied the Rockie offense all night long.  The Rockies were held to only three first downs in the second half.  That along with seven turnovers throughout the contest made the Rockie offense ineffective throughout the NLC contest.

The shutout was the first in a regular season game at The Rockpile in 15 years.  The last time it happened was 10/18/02 when Northwood shutout the Rockies 30-0 on the home field.

The Rockies get a chance to get back in the win column next Friday night as the get on the road and head to Elkhart Memorial.  Kickoff is set for 7:00.
