The JV Rockie Football team traveled down to Culver Monday evening to take on CMA.  The Rockies came home victorious 37-8.

Zephan Nixon took over the reins at quarterback as Joe Barron was pushed into the varsity starting spot this past Friday night.  Nixon responded with three touchdown passes with two of them going to Joe Styers.  Kam Vanlue hauled in the third TD pass by Nixon.

On the night, Vanlue had a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown, and also scored on two different 2-point conversions.

The Rockies also picked up three turnovers on the night including interceptions by Vanlue and Dylan Gamble.  Arturo Valdez also recovered an Eagle fumble.

Next up is a Saturday morning Blueberry game at The Rockpile.  Kickoff is set for 10:00 AM.
