Multiple Teams · LADY PILGRIMS PUT DOWN BY VALLEY VIKINGS


The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims ran into a buzz saw last night in the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings.  The Pilgrims were defeated by Valley 48-32.  The loss moves their record to 6-2 on the year.

The Pilgrims fell behind 10-0 early in the game before calling a time out.  The Pilgrims trailed 35-9 at halftime before rallying in the fourth quarter.  They cut the lead down to 12 points at 38-26 at one time but that was as close as they got.

The Pilgrims were lead by freshman Halle Reichard with 10 points.  Cortni Cook and Nicole Horvath each added six points.

The JV defeated Valley 50-14 moving their record to 8-0 on the year.

The Pilgrims open NLC play Saturday at home vs Goshen.  JV tip-off is set for 6:45.
