Multiple Teams · PLYMOUTH BASEBALL LOSES 3-2 AT GOSHEN


The Plymouth Pilgrim baseball team lost at Goshen 3-2 Monday night.  The Pilgrims fell behind 3-0 after two inning before denting the scoreboard in the third inning.  Justin Drudge doubled over the center fielder’s head and scored on a Braydon Davidson single.

The Pilgrims scored an unearned run in the fifth inning but that was as close as they could get.  The Pilgrims left eight runners on base on the night.

Davidson was the hard luck loser for the Pilgrims.  He pitched five innings and allowed two earned runs on five hits while striking out seven.

The Pilgrims host Wawasee Wednesday night at Bill Nixon Field.  Game time is set for 5:00.
