The Pilgrim baseball team moved their record to 2-0 in the NLC by topping Concord Wednesday night 6-5 in a walk-off win.
The Pilgrims took a 4-0 lead after four innings before Concord mounted their comeback. They scored one in the 5th inning and four in the 6th inning to take the lead 5-4.
The Pilgrims scored one run in the 6th inning to tie it at 5-5. Winning pitcher Bailey Clark lead off the 7th inning by getting on base on an error. Caleb Mikesell came in to pinch run for Clark. Brandon Milligan laid down a two strike sacrifice bunt to move Mikesell to second base. Cam Eveland followed with a single to knock in the game winner.
Cody Gamble had three hits for the Pilgrims while Eveland had two hits.
The Pilgrims are on the road Friday at Warsaw before coming back home Saturday to face LaPorte at 12:00.
The JV Pilgrims also moved to 2-0 in the NLC with a 5-2 win over Concord. Dyllon Pavey got the win on the mound for the Pilgrims.
