Multiple Teams · PILGRIMS BOW OUT OF SECTIONAL


The Plymouth Pilgrims were knocked out of the sectional Friday night by the Penn Kingsmen 57-40.  SB Riley then defeated Penn in the championship game 74-69 Saturday night.

The Pilgrims lead 12-9 after the first quarter but struggled scoring after that.  The Pilgrims trailed 22-16 at halftime.  Penn opened up the second half converting an old fashioned three point play to take a 25-16 lead.  The Pilgrims were never closer than nine points the rest of the night.

The Pilgrims were lead by Tyler England with 17 points as he was 3-3 from the three point line.  Cam Eveland added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Pilgrims finished the year 15-8.  Seniors playing their last game for the Pilgrims included England, Max Holloway, and Reis Yoder.
