The Plymouth Pilgrims hosted the Glenn Falcons in a senior night game Tuesday night and came away with a 67-54 victory.  A pre-game ceremony honored the four Pilgrim players including Tyler England, Max Holloway, Reis Yoder, and Italian exchange student Pietro Bologna.

The Pilgrims came out of the gate fast Tuesday night against the Falcons leading 17-9 at the end of the first quarter.  The Pilgrims held at least a 10 point lead throughout most of the contest.

Glenn made a mild run in the last half of the fourth quarter.  With under three minutes to go and the Pilgrims leading 57-48, Glenn had the ball with a chance to really cut into the Pilgrim lead.  Senior Jake Strong missed a three point attempt from the top of the key that would have cut the Pilgrim lead to six with three minutes to go.

Josh Anders got the defensive rebound, ended up getting fouled at the opposite end, and hit two free throws to build the lead over 10 points.  The Pilgrims held their 10+ point lead throughout the remainder of the contest as they were 12-15 from the free throw line during the final quarter.

Anders lead the Pilgrims in scoring with 16 points followed by Nick Felke with 14, and Cam Eveland with 13 points.

The win finishes the Pilgrim season at 14-7.  Next up is the sectional at Penn.  The Pilgrims open up sectional play against the South Bend Clay Colonials Wednesday night, 3/4/15 at 6:00.  Clay is 8-14 on the year after their loss last night to Elkhart Memorial 78-69.  Clay still has one game remaining on their schedule as they travel to Valparaiso Friday night.
