The Plymouth boy’s basketball teams will participate in an all-day shoot-out Tuesday at Westview High School.  The freshmen, JV, and Varsity teams will all participate.

The day begins for our JV team at 9:00 AM when they play Lakeland.  The freshmen team will face-off against Westview at 10:15, while the JV team finishes their day at 10:30 against Westview.  The freshmen team plays their second game against Dekalb at 2:15.

The Plymouth Varsity (5-2)  will take on Westview (3-4) at 1:00 PM.  Westview has defeated Bethany Christian, Northridge, and Lakeland.  They have lost to Churubusco, Northwood, Central Noble, and Angola.  Westview is lead by 6-3 senior forward Chandler Aspy, 6-0 senior guard Cody Litwiler, and 6-3 junior guard Andrew Yoder.   Westview lost in the 2A state championship game last year to Indianapolis Park-Tudor.

The Pilgrims will take on the Lakeland Lakers (1-6) at 6:00 PM.  Lakeland’s only win this year came against Bethany Christian.  Their loses have been to East Noble, Fairfield, Westview, Fremont, Northwood, and Eastside.  The Lakers have been lead this year by Cole Harp and Camron Bontrager.

The Pilgrims last played a week ago at South Bend Riley.  The Pilgrims picked up that win 70-58.  The Pilgrim varsity was lead by senior Tyler England’s 25 points and junior Josh Anders’ 14 points.
