SOUTH BEND RILEY KNOCKS DOWN PILGRIMS

It was the tale of two halves Tuesday night at South Bend Riley High School as the Pilgrims fell to the Wildcats 73-55. GYMNASTICS COMPETES AT LOGANSPORT

The Plymouth Gymnastic’s team opened their season Saturday at the Logansport Pairs competition.  This was the inaugural year for the competition.  As a team, the Pilgrims finished in 3rd place behind winner Harrison and host Logansport.  The Pilgrims scored 83.25 as a team. The Lady Pilgrim Basketball team fell in a tight NLC contest to Northwood Saturday night at the Panther Pit.  The final was 41-39. ROCKIE WRESTLERS AT WAWASEE INVITE

The Plymouth Rockie Wrestlers participated in the Wawasee Invitational Saturday.  The Rockies went 3-2 on the day.  They fell to the host Warriors 55-20 at to Northridge 58-14.  They defeated Glenn 43-36, Heritage 66-6, and Angola 47-35. PILGRIMS USE STRONG 2ND HALF TO DOWN NORTHWOOD

The Plymouth Pilgrims scored 36 second half points to down the Northwood Panthers 57-42.  It was the traditional NLC opener for both teams. SWIMMERS TAKE ON WAWASEE

The Pilgrim Swim teams took on NLC opponent Wawasee Thursday night in Syracuse.  The Pilgrim boys fell to Wawasee 127-51 while the girls lost in a closer match 113-72. FRESHMEN BASKETBALL DROPS GAME TO NORTHWOOD

The Pilgrim Frshmen Basketball team dropped their NLC contest to Northwood Thursday night.  The final at Northwood was 31-16.  The Pilgrims are now 2-2 in the NLC and 3-3 overall.  They do not play again until after the Holidays on Thursday, 1/3/19 at Elkhart Memorial.  Tip off is scheduled for 6:00.

9th LADY PILGRIMS DOWN NORTHWOOD

The Freshmen Lady Pilgrims traveled to Northwood Thursday night to play in their new Fieldhouse.  The Pilgrims downed Northwood in a close NLC contest 39-37. Sydney Rice lead the Pilgrim attack with 10 points.  Maddie Mann and Keiara Himes each added eight points. The win moves them to 2-2 in NLC play and 4-3 overall. 

ROCKIE WRESTLERS FALL TO NORTHWOOD

The Plymouth Rockie Wrestlers hosted the Northwood Panthers Thursday night at The Rock.  The Rockies fell to Northwood in NLC action 46-27. Winning for the Rockies were Dominic Smith (120), Nate Derifield (126), Fernando Rebollo (145), Graham Calhoun (182), and Diego Garcia (220). Winning a JV match for the Rockies was Grant Keirn (160).
